It is indeed. And it highlights the tragedy of how some objects (such as buildings) are accorded protection from demolition because of their historic significance, but no such protection exists for most other objects. The thought of one of his cars being scrapped (especially for something like a war) is so infuriating that it's difficult for me to contemplate. To consider that more than 10,000 of them suffered that fate, I find appalling. It speaks very ill of our species.
